The process

Simple from day one

Four steps from your first call to your first written family update.

01

Free consultation

We call you within 24 hours. You tell us about your loved one — their name, situation, any concerns. We recommend the right plan and answer every question.

02

We match and schedule

We match your loved one with a vetted companion and build a recurring schedule. You choose frequency — once a week, twice, or three times. We handle the rest.

03

The visit happens

Your companion visits your loved one for 30 focused minutes — warm conversation, light assistance, friendly presence. They conduct themselves professionally and with full care.

04

You get the update

Within 2 hours: a written companion observation summary and a family text. A friendly note — not a clinical report — telling you how it went and what they noticed.

Common questions

Everything you need to know

A companion visit is a professional 30-minute in-home visit by a trained, vetted companion who provides warm, attentive presence — conversation, light household help, a friendly check-in. Lawrence Senior Support coordinates these visits as your family's care platform. Our companions are not medical professionals and do not provide clinical services. Post-visit summaries are friendly companion notes, not medical assessments.
Plans start at $199/month (Basic — 4 visits, once weekly, $6.63/day). Standard is $399/month (8 visits, twice weekly, $13.30/day — our most chosen plan). Premium is $599/month (12 visits, three times weekly, $19.97/day — recommended when memory, mobility, or isolation concerns are present). Every plan includes 30-minute visits, a companion observation summary, and a family text after every visit. No contracts. Cancel anytime.
Every companion writes a brief, friendly observation summary after each visit. It covers your loved one's overall demeanor, what they did together, anything they noticed worth sharing, and whether any concerns were flagged. These are informal companion notes — warm, personal, and written in plain language. They are non-clinical companion records and do not constitute medical assessments, professional health evaluations, or clinical opinions of any kind.
Our companions are independent professionals who coordinate with Lawrence Senior Support to deliver visits. All companions are background-checked before their first visit. They work with a strong standard of warmth, respect, and reliability. Premium plan clients receive priority companion matching and a consistency guarantee — the same companion for your loved one as often as possible.
If there is a medical emergency, your companion calls 911 immediately — they do not wait. They are not medical professionals and will not attempt medical intervention beyond calling for help and staying with your loved one until help arrives. For urgent non-emergency concerns, the companion marks their summary as URGENT, our coordination team is notified in real time, and we contact you directly. You will never be left to wonder.
No. Lawrence Senior Support does not require contracts. You can cancel, pause, or change your plan at any time with reasonable notice. We believe families should stay because the service works for them — not because they're locked in.
Lawrence Senior Support is a non-medical companion coordination platform. Our services are not medical care and are not covered by Medicare or standard health insurance. Some long-term care insurance policies may cover non-medical companion services — we recommend checking your policy. Some Kansas assistance programs may also be applicable. We're happy to discuss options during your free consultation.
Most families choose Standard — twice-weekly visits mean no more than 3–4 days pass without someone checking in. If your loved one has memory concerns, recent falls, or lives in significant isolation, we typically recommend Premium — three times a week and near-daily updates give families with real concerns the coverage they need. We'll guide you to the right plan during your free consultation call based on your loved one's specific situation.
